2025 Student Hiring Fair

Fort Worth ISD students are ready to take the next step towards their college and career goals. To help them prepare for the future, the Fort Worth ISD hosts a Student Internship and Hiring Fair. 

Each year dozens of local businesses and organizations attend the event to connect with hundreds of Career and Technology Education students looking for job or internship opportunities. Current junior and senior students meet prospective employers looking to fill full or part time positions, seasonal employment or internships.

FWISD CTE teachers encourage their rising senior students to attend the event and meet with industry professionals in an effort to secure a practicum partner for the next school year. Having a practicum partner allows students to earn course credit while applying classroom skills in a professional setting. Research shows students benefit from on-the-job (OTJ) training through skills development, gaining confidence, mentorship and professional connections.
