The Vital Link Connection
The Fort Worth ISD Career and Technical Education Department is transforming student learning. Vital Link is one initiative including local businesses and organizations.
Vital Link partners provide students and teachers an opportunity to experience real-world scenarios and apply skills learned at school to the workplace.
The Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce, and the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce view collaboration by employers with our school district as a best practice for talent development, attraction, and retention. Additional community partners and Vital Link advisory committee members include Tarrant County College, Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County, Texas Wesleyan University, and regional businesses and community leaders.
