Future Focus Texas

If you applied for financial aid for the 2022-23 school year, you might have started to receive your financial aid award letters along with acceptances. Award letters typically come in late March to early April. If you have not heard back, make sure to contact your college's financial aid office to inquire.

00 My FAFSA Verification

Did you know that about 1 of 3 FAFSA applications go through verification? It’s super common! Here’s what to expect if your FAFSA is selected: First, don’t worry! Verification just means checking that your FAFSA is accurate. Your college or FAFSA Student Aid Report will tell you if you're selected. And next, your college will tell you what's needed for it - that's it! Visit this LINK for a more in-depth explanation.

TSAFA for Texas

Paying for college can be a confusing and overwhelming process. But with the help of financial aid, students can find grants, scholarships, and loans to help pay for school. Students nationwide are encouraged to complete the FAFSA, the federal program to help students pay for college. But what if you aren’t eligible for federal financial aid?

In Texas, resident students are encouraged to complete the TASFA - Texas Application for State Financial Aid - to receive state-based financial aid in place of federal programs. The TASFA application and instructions can be found in English and Spanish on the College for All Texans website. READ MORE.
