Restorative and Responsive Settings

Restorative and Responsive Settings within Fort Worth ISD are designed to support student well-being and improve school environments through targeted interventions and restorative practices. The Intervention Services team includes licensed mental health professionals who provide individual and group support, crisis intervention, peer mediation, conflict resolution, leadership development, and transitional support—with parent consent. These services help students build healthy coping strategies and improve their overall functioning in both life and school.
Restorative Practice Services focus on reducing behavioral issues and increasing student engagement by fostering respect, understanding, and community within classrooms. Campuses receive training and support in conflict resolution, classroom management, and restorative circles. When implemented consistently, these practices contribute to a more positive and supportive school climate, ultimately enhancing student success across Fort Worth ISD.
