Boys and girls entering grades 3‑9 can spend a fun week this summer learning the basic fundamentals of basketball from a team of highly-skilled coaches from FWISD middle and high schools.

Grades 3-6: 8 a.m. to noon or 1 p.m.

Parent/guardians of campers grades 3-6:

Registration is at 8 a.m. on the first day of camp.

Grades 7-9: Noon or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Parent/guardians of campers grades 7-9:
- Registration is at 8 a.m. or noon on the first day of camp. However, campers in grades 7-9 who register at 8 a.m. on Monday may not participate in the morning session. They may return between noon and 1 p.m. for free play and lunch, then will participate in the afternoon session.
What campers will do
- Station work will provide instruction in shooting, ball-handling, offensive moves, footwork, passing, defensive positioning and rebounding.
- Campers will be grouped according to their skill level and will be challenged according to their ability. They will be introduced to team concepts that will help prepare them for scholastic teams.
- Every camper gets a FWISD camp t-shirt.
- Free lunch is provided for all campers from noon to 1 p.m. For grades 3-6, lunch is after dismissal and for grades 7-9, lunch is before camp begins.
What to wear
- Comfortable t-shirt
- Comfortable workout shorts
- Court shoes

Cost: $25
- Camp applications accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Enrollment is limited. Camp applications will be accepted until camp is full or until the deadline date of June 22, 2026.
- No phone or faxed applications accepted.
- Acceptance to the camp will be confirmed by a phone call to camper’s home/cell telephone number after June 12, 2026.
