Parent-Teacher Organization Support

Services available to my students, community, and campus through the Parent Teacher Organization Support Program

To assist all campuses needing support with PTA, PTO, and Booster Clubs – and to ensure district guidelines are followed within these organizations – the Parent Partnerships department offers coaching and mentoring support in the following ways:

Districtwide Support

• Year-long Support Labs for PTAs, PTOs, and Booster Clubs.
• Checkpoint Surveys – utilized to check for progress and application of what is covered in the Support Labs.
• Invitation for elected officers of parent organizations to attend webinars that will benefit them as leaders, and the overall parent organizations

Intensive Campus Support

• Quarterly review of parent organization documents.
• Monthly review of the parent organization's calendar of planned events.
• One-on-One Campus Support: Attend scheduled board meetings in efforts to provide coaching and feedback; Work with parent organization’s elected officers to customize Action Plans and a clear strategy to help grow the organization, while also increasing parent and family engagement for the campus; Attend campus events planned by parent organizations to offer coaching and feedback.
• In-person checkpoints and campus visits to check for progress and application of what is covered in the Support Labs.
