Zero to Five

Free parent-child education classes for Fort Worth families.
The Zero to Five program empowers parents and families through parent-child education classes. The purpose of this program is to teach and model best academic practices for parents with children from prenatal to age five. The parent-child education classes include the following key curriculum goals:
Literacy and Language Development
Improve Cognitive, Perceptual, Motor Skills & Assess Developmental Delays
Development of Early Math Concepts
Improve Parenting Practices & Increase Child's School Readiness Skills
The program will also offer opportunities for parents and families to receive access to child development screenings, connect to community resources and referrals, and home visits upon request.
Program Objectives: Increase PreK enrollment, Align program to the district's attendance initiatives, and Support literacy through the parent-child education classes.
