Student Engagement and School Completion

Fort Worth ISD’s Student Engagement and School Completion Department helps students stay connected to school and reach graduation ready for their next steps. The team works directly with students who are at risk of dropping out or facing chronic absenteeism, using restorative strategies and personalized support to re-engage them in learning. Coordinators and staff collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to remove barriers and guide students back into the classroom.
Through programs like the Comprehensive Truancy Intervention Program and flexible learning options, the department offers students meaningful pathways to success. Their work goes beyond academics, addressing emotional and behavioral needs to ensure students feel supported and seen. By focusing on prevention and wraparound services, they help students build momentum toward graduation and a strong future.
