Fort Worth ISD is excited to offer in-person summer learning opportunities for eligible elementary students. The program will focus on building essential skills in reading and math, along with engaging enrichment activities, all within a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

For high school students, the focus will be on credit recovery and End-of-Course (EOC) tutorials. High school students will be scheduled for summer programs by their school counselor.

Your child’s school will contact you directly if they are selected for summer school. Participation is by invitation only and is based on academic need.

For high school students (grades 9-12), eligibility is determined by credit recovery requirements. Priority will be given to current 11th and 12th graders. Please note, this program focuses on credit recovery to meet graduation requirements, not academic acceleration.

If your child qualifies, your school will reach out to you by late April. You’ll receive:

• A personalized invitation
   
• The campus will register the student once eligibility is confirmed and the parent has approved attendance.
   
• Your assigned summer hub location
