Through a TEA-recommended Accelerating Campus Excellence (ACE) initiative, FWISD is redesigning a select group of high-need campuses with more time, more support, and more pay for the educators who choose to serve there.

Elementary & Secondary Teaching

Roles range from early learning and core classroom teaching to bilingual/dual language, STEM, and specialized acceleration positions that focus on small-group and high-impact tutoring. Many positions connect to advanced compensation pathways like TIA and ACE, with added coaching and support so you can grow your practice and your pay while keeping students at the center.

Step into FWISD through flexible roles that keep schools running every day. This includes classroom substitutes, AVID and campus tutors, adult education instructors, after-school staff, bilingual testers, and student interns. On-the-ground support for teachers and students across more than 140 schools.

FWISD principals and assistant principals drive rigorous teaching, data-informed decisions, and literacy-focused improvement while building strong teams, safe climates, and real family and community partnerships across diverse campuses.

From bus routes and building repairs to hot meals, clean campuses, secure doors, and reliable technology, FWISD operations keeps learning possible for over 65,000 students. Drivers, tradespeople, custodial and warehouse teams, child nutrition, safety, and IT all carry the load most people never see but every student benfits from.
