All teachers must have an End-of-Year (EOY) summative conference, regardless of a Formal Observation Waiver.*
EOY conferences will review summative scores for Domains 1-3 as well as data and evidence gathered by the appraiser (and provided by the teacher) throughout the appraisal year for Domain 4. Additionally, EOY conferences will review results of the teacher’s student performance and goal attainment. The EOY will also review potential goals and professional development plans for the next school year.
*Teachers with an approved Less-than-Annual waiver will be scored only in Domain 4 of the EOY conference.
Note: Domain 4 is not scored until after the teacher has been afforded an opportunity to present evidence related to each of the four (4) dimensions during the EOY Conference.
Professional Development Plan
The Professional Development Plan (PDP) is a required component of T-TESS process and should be created during the EOY conference after reviewing areas of improvement.
The teacher, in conjunction with the appraiser, should complete a PDP to address areas needing growth. If specific courses are not available in the course catalog when developing the PDP, use topics in place.
