My husband and I just celebrated our twenty-third year of marriage.  We met when he was in the Army stationed at Fort Bliss and married in 1996.  We have two fabulous children, Aiden Carter and Abigail Cathryn. Our family enjoys spending time together with our two crazy rescue dogs, Princess Hannah Banana and Jedi Luke Barkwalker.

I have worked at Mary Louise Phillips since 1999.  I did my student teaching at Mary Louise Phillips. I was hired as a fourth grade teacher during my student teaching and there my journey as a Roadrunner began.  I taught third grade for several years after teaching fourth.  After earning my Masters degree in School Counseling, I transitioned and began my counseling career at Phillips in 2007. I have loved being a part of the Mary Louise Phillips family throughout my educational journey.

One of my favorite quotes is by Eleanor Roosevelt; "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."  Each and every child is our future. My hope is to help make a difference in each child's life that I encounter and elicit inspiration that furthers their imagination and dreams.
