Jenna Wollard – Music
I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could. I graduated from New Mexico State University in 2014 with a degree in music education. I played the flute in the New Mexico State Marching Band. Go Aggies! I live with my boyfriend, Mark, in Fort Worth, and enjoy going to the lake and spending time with family. This is my second year teaching music.
Betsy Bowles – Physical Education
Jennifer Hyde – Art
I grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas and graduated from South Grand Prairie High School. After high school, I first went to Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, but a degree change to Architecture found me back in Texas at the University of Texas at Arlington. I graduated with a Bachelors of Art in Interior Design and Architecture Education. I began teaching 7th grade Language Arts at J.P. Elder Middle School before moving to De Zavala. This is my fourth year at De Zavala, and second year in the Art department. As of March 21, 2016, I am officially a breast cancer survivor. I live in Burleson with my husband, Roger, my son, Thompson, and a menagerie of cats and dogs. When I’m not hanging out with the DZ Eagles, I love spending time with my family, reading (usually Harry Potter), taking trips, playing trumpet, and shopping (usually Target).
