Hans Grim is a music director and pianist in the Fort Worth area now in his sixth year teaching choirs for the Fort Worth Independent School District, and his third year as choir director at Arlington Heights High School. He has served as music director for over 40 productions and played for the national tour of Mamma Mia as well as appearing with the Dallas Wind Symphony, the Irving Symphony Orchestra and the University of North Texas Chamber Orchestra.

In 2015, Hans was presented the Bayard H. Friedman Hero Award as an “Outstanding Choral Director” during a Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Concert at Bass Hall.  He is an accomplished vocalist having won the top Sigma Alpha Iota American Repertoire Award in 2012.  He is proud to have performed in the very special first “Christmas at the Carillon” with Dr. Craig Hella Johnson’s New Texas Festival Singers which would eventually evolve into the Grammy winning ‘Conspirare’.

He has performed on stage at Granbury Opera House and at Bass Hall as a member of the quartet in Casa Mañana’s Music Man.  Hans also serves as a pianist and section leader at First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth.  He is also a proud alumnus of the Texas Wesleyan Music Department.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Mary and three talented children, Max, Rose and Maddie.
