The Bart Granger was a huge success even though the weather caused us concern and eventually resulted in a cancellation of Saturday's play.  Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this so great.
    Team and Individual Results:
Paschal finished 25th out of 52 Teams.  Keegan Galvin (77,70) finished 32nd out of 262 players.  Nathan Moore (75,74) finished 60th, Sean Meek (73,77) finished 71st, Blake Hulse (81,84) finished 201st and Luke Asbury (83,86) finished 219th.  Some of the best talent in Texas and Arizona competed in this event so middle of the pack is not too bad!

We will have our parent meeting on Tuesday, August 14th at 6:00.  The meeting will take place either in the boys gym or the old cafeteria.  I will send out a remind as soon as I know the location.  New parents can join the golf remind by texting @mrfurti to 81010.  All golfers need to make sure that all of the online paperwork has been completed before the first day of school.  The online forms can be located on the FWISD website.  Each golfer will also need to turn in a physical and a medical history form to me on the first day.  These two forms are the only 2 forms not completed online.  Golfers without these forms, will not be allowed to tryout the first week of school.  Golfers wishing to order a Paschal Golf Bag will contact Reid Parrish at Rivercrest CC and place an order.  The cost of the bags last year was $180.  Tryouts for the fall will be held the first week of school at Pecan Valley Hills Course.  I will give you the exact days at the meeting on Tuesday.  See you then!

  • PHS Golf News!

The golf season concluded this week with the boys team and Mallory competing at the Regional Tournament held at Tierra Verde Golf Course.

The guys team consisting of Alex Schumacher, Coulter Bostick, Kyle Engelbert, Nathan Moore and Keegan Galvin finished off a great season by placing 7th at the Regional Tournament.  The boys were within striking distance heading into day 2 of making it to the state tournament but came up a bit short.

Mallory Franke did a great job representing the girls team and Paschal at the girls regional tournament also held at Tierra Verde GC.  As a sophomore, she gained valuable experience which will no doubt come in handy next season as she and the rest of our girls advance again to regionals.

Thank you to all of our parents for your snack donations, joining the booster club, volunteering at different functions throughout the year and everything else you do to help our program maintain success.

    Thanks again!

    Coach Furtick

  • We've had a nice run the past few weeks.  The girls had a good showing at Southern Oaks before spring break and are improving every day.  The JV Boys finished 1st and 2nd in the two person team competition at Mansfield National and finished 1st last Monday at Southern Oaks.  The Varsity Boys won the Centennial tournament at Southern Oaks before spring break and this past weekend had a HUGE win at Walnut Creek CC playing in the Vernon Newsom Memorial Tournament.  The guys beat some quality teams in this event (Mansfield, Woodlands, Highland Park, Byron Nelson and many more.  We are very proud of the effort and hard work that all of our kids are giving.  We are also looking forward to an exciting finish to what has been a quickly moving spring season.

We will finish qualifying for our District Tournament this week.  We will be taking 13 boys total and all of the girls.  The tournaments will be held next week at Southern Oaks.

    Boys-Tuesday & Wednesday, April 3rd & 4th

    Girls-Wednesday & Thursday, April 4th & 5th
