Ms. Tiffany Whitmore

Sophomore Counselor

I am the proud counselor for the Class of 2021! It is my pleasure to be able to serve these students for the second school year. I grew up here locally in Fort Worth, earning both my Bachelor's in 4th-8th Language Arts and Master's in School Counseling at Texas Wesleyan University in 2012. One of my biggest accomplishments was having the opportunity to study abroad in both London and Argentina! Before arriving at Dunbar I had the privilege to teach for 8 years at Crowley Middle School, serve in Keller ISD as both an elementary and middle school counselor for 4 years, and I most recently completed two years as a school counselor at Monnig Middle School.

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my two boys, ages 21 and 10. I am a huge Cowboys' fan and spend most of my weekends at little league games. I absolutely love to travel, so I am "on the go" often.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. My goal is to advocate and help your child reach their full potential. I can't possibly do this without your support. Wishing everyone a successful school year!

Freshmen Counselor

Welcome back to school. I am eager and excited to be working as the 9th grade counselor at Dunbar High School. This is my eighteenth year as an educator for Fort Worth ISD and thirteenth year as a professional school counselor. I graduated with my bachelors degree from Southern University A&M and received a masters degree from Praire View A&M.  My favorite things to do are traveling, reading, running, and spending time with my family. I believe that every student has the ability to achieve their goals and dreams if they are given the motivation and resources to do so. I will work hard this school year to ensure that our students are given every opportunity to be successful in their endeavors.
