Troy Langston is the Principal of the Texas Academy of Biomedical Sciences. He is a product of the Fort Worth Independent School District and has attended the following FWISD schools: MH Moore Elementary, SS Dillow Elementary, and the High School for Science and Engineering Professions at PL Dunbar HS. Mr. Langston earned a BA in Anthropology from UTA, a BS in Zoology from UT Austin, and a MEd from UTA. He taught Biology, Chemistry, and Advanced Placement Biology for eleven years at Carter Riverside High School and served as Assistant Principal at PL Dunbar High School for the four years before coming to TABS.
Mr. Langston enjoys distance running, canoeing, hiking, camping, soccer, and obviously science. He is dedicated to this school and to connecting parents, students, and community partners to meet the goals of our school. He challenges each family to commit to the student, and partner with our school to develop tomorrow's Biomedical Leaders.

During his eighteen years as an educator, Mr. Henson has worked for Amarillo ISD and Fort Worth ISD, serving the last eight years as Assistant Principal here at Southwest High School. While a teacher in Fort Worth, he also worked as a curriculum writer for Fort Worth ISD. He received both his Bachelor of Music and Master of Education Degrees from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. Mr. Henson is married with four children and enjoys spending time with family and his church.
