Hello, I was not born and raised in Fort Worth, however, I did what a lot of people do and got here as quickly as I could.  Culture has always been a big part of my life as someone who grew up overseas.  I received my Bachelor’s in Midlevel Math and Science (grades 4th-8th) from the University of Texas at Arlington and then earned my Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas. 

Prior to being the Principal of Daggett Middle School I taught Math, was the Data Analyst/Testing Coordinator, and then an Assistant Principal for two years in Middle School and four years for High School. 

Most of my free time is spent with my family.  I am the blessed mother of six beautiful kids: Aaron, Bayla, Emma, Olivia, Franco, and Jacob.  My sister and I adopted the sibling group about five years ago and became the first siblings in the state of Texas to co-parent.  If you Google '2 sisters adopt 6 kids in Texas' you can see my ugly cry when we adopted them.  

I am so excited to be joining the Daggett Middle School family!
