Devra is thrilled to be spending her first year on the FWISD staff, following an OT fieldwork with the district during graduate school. She graduated with her Masters of Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University at Houston in 2015. Prior to coming to FWISD, Devra worked in the inpatient rehab and home health settings. She was inspired to become an OT through her previous career providing therapeutic horseback riding lessons to children and adults with disabilities.
Devra is the proud mom to a 4-year old son. They enjoy traveling to see family and friends in PA and TN.
“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.” –Mr. (Fred) Rogers
