Debra Allen
Mrs. Allen is excited to be on the Kindergarten team again this year. She has been a teacher for 14 years all at BHE. She has taught all grades Pre-K through 4th. She taught first grade for 7 years. She was recognized as "Teacher of the Year" in 2019. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Tarleton State University.
Mrs. Allen and her husband of 32 years, have 2 grown daughters. Her youngest daughter and husband have 2 babies, making her a "Mimi". They also have 3 Aussies. She loves to spend time with her family, go camping, and travel. Her favorite children's book is "Goodnight Moon".

This is Mrs. Garcia's 7th year teaching at BHE in the Dual Language Kindergarten program. She is excited to embark in the new way of education beginning with Virtual Learning. Her goal is to provide your child Language instruction using the best practices supported by FWISD. She looks forward to working with you and your child!
Bienvenidos al programa de kinder de inmersión en dos idiomas. Este será mi séptimo año enseñando en BHE en el programa de Kinder Dos Idiomas. Estoy muy emocionada de empezar nuestra nueva forma de educación empezando con las clases virtuales. Mi meta es prevenir su hija/o enseñanza de lenguaje usando los mejores practicas apoyados por FWISD. Estoy esperando con mucha emoción de trabajar con ustedes y su hija/o!

Mrs. Angela Redding (ESCE-K)
Mrs. Redding is an ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) teacher who has been teaching for 24 years. She is currently a Kindergarten Inclusion teacher. She has been at Burton Hill all those years. She received her BA in Business Administration at UTA but found teaching 5 years later at Region XI. She is married and has 2 grown children (27 and 19). She loves to walk and watch movies.

Ann Roels
Mrs. Roels is starting her 23nd year of teaching. She has been with Burton Hill Elementary for 14 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on early childhood in December of 1999. She also completed a master’s in education administration from TCU in December 2005. Mrs. Roels’ favorite thing about being a teacher is seeing the joy in her student’s eyes when they learn something new. When Mrs. Roels is not at school, she is spending time with her two children, husband, and puppy.
