Ms. Bagley is excited to join BHE as a 1st grade teacher this year. She has previously taught 4th grade for 4 years and this will be her fifth year teaching elementary. She received both her Bachelor and Master Degrees from LeTourneau Christian University. She developed her love of teaching while teaching a two-year old class for four years. Her favorite part about being a teacher is the joy of being around children while teaching them skills for a lifetime. She lives for those "light-bulb" moments. She has a son who just graduated high school and is beginning college. They love going to church and getting together with family and friends. They also enjoy going to the movies, traveling and eating, lots and lots of eating! they will make a trip just to go try a new place to eat!

Senora Juarez was born and raised in Mexico. She holds a B.A from Instituto Politecnico Nacional from her home country. She earned Her Teacher Certification through Tarleton State University. She also completed her M.L.A from Texas Christian University. She has been teaching in FWISD for 14 years, 13 of them First Grade at Burton Hill Elementary.
She is married and has two children, a 24 year old daughter attending TCU to earn her master and a 18 year old son attending Texas Academy of Biomedical Sciences.
When she is not teaching, she enjoys vegetable gardening and she also is a lover of nature. She likes to travel and getting to know new places and people is her favorite part.
She feels honored to be part of Burton Hill Elementary School. Her love for children and education keeps her learning methods to accelerate learning for all students. She truly believe that all students have their own potential and love for discovery.

Cuando Sra. Juarez no esta en la escuela, ella disfruta la jardineria y es una amande de la naturaleza. Le facina viajar y conocer nuevos lugares y personas.
Ella se siente honrada de ser parte de la familia de Burton Hill. Su amor por los ninos y la educacion la mantienen aprendiendo metodos para acelerar el aprendizaje para todos los estudiantes. Ella verdaderamente cree que todos los estudiantes tienen su propio potencial y amor por el descubrimiento.

Ms. Shapiro is over the moon about joining the Burton Hill family and is looking forward to having the best year ever. She has recently made the move from Dallas to Fort Worth and loves it already. This is her 13^th year in education and her 6^th year in first grade.  After earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from SMU and Master of Education Administration from Texas A&M – Commerce, she earned a black belt in Taekwondo.

In her free time, Ms. Shapiro enjoys live music, eating ice cream, and taking her dogs for rides in the car. She is the mom of two incredibly talented boys who she secretly wishes were still in 1^st grade.
