Dawn Bonin

Ms. Bonin

This is my 1st year at Burton Hill Elementary as a 2nd grade literacy teacher.  I am so excited to be here!  I have been teaching for 20 years. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Psychology.  I love teaching!  I feel honored to be a teacher and to have a part in helping a child grow into the best person they can be.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I love traveling to new and exciting places.  I always look forward to that next trip to the ocean.  I am a certified scuba diver and on every dive I find myself amazed at the beauty of our oceans and the incredible sea creatures!  Lately, I have been trying a new hobby - growing flowers!  I also enjoy my volunteer work involving Bible Study, and I see great value in how it has helped my life.
