Bi-District Play-offs
Posted by Coach Soto on 10/13/2022Even though the tennis team was overshadowed by a very tough and experienced Panther team, the kids faced their fears and the challenge in front of them and they did a very good job. The tennis ball did not bounce our way but we put up a good fight. The Spring Season looks very promising.

End of a Tough District Season
Posted by Coach on 9/30/2022The team finished a tough Fall tennis schedule with a loss to Benbrook last night. The team finished with a 7-3 record. All the wins and losses were decided by one or two matches. I am very proud of this senior class because they have made the Fall tennis play-offs every year since their 9th grade. This fall they made the play-offs again. We will know by the end of next week who we will play against.

Wednesday, September 21st
Posted by Coach Soto on 9/22/2022Congratulations to the WHHS Tennis team for their great victory last night. They defeated Carrolton Ranchview, the defending District Champs, 10-9. Jaineel Patel won the 9th match and Alejandra Mares clinched the 10th match for an awesome winning night for our Cougars. Thanks for all your support.

Benbrook Match
Posted by Coach Soto on 9/9/2022The tennis team had a tough night yesterday. The game was tied at 8 all and the kids were playing really well until things didn't go our way. But we will be ready for the next match. On the bright side, our chances of being in the playoffs seem really nice overall. Thanks for always supporting us.

Ranchview Match
Posted by Coach Soto on 8/31/2022Last night the tennis match was stopped due to lighting. The kids were prepared and ready. They even started winning and I could see a big W in the sky, which I thought was an awesome sign for the match. Turns out the W in the sky was lightning. The match will be rescheduled, weather permitting.
