Catti competed at Nationals, she got through Squat, but Bench caught her....
We are really proud of her and she had a great year. 10 meets has thoroughly worn her down, but she is just a sophomore.
Thank you everyone for your support.
Girls' State Competition
Catti Rock got the 2nd place medal at state on March 15th and had an awesome meet.
It was an exciting day as the top 5 girls all were within 5 pounds of each other going into Deadlift. Catti had a great meet and had a solid shot at 1st, but missed her last lift of 430 pounds on the deadlift. It was a great day and we are super proud of her. She has the National meet in two weeks and a chance to claim that first place prize.
Boys' Regional Competition
Nate Caballero had a great day squatting 590, Bench 365 and a deadlift of 565 for a Total of 1520 that placed him second and qualified him for the State Meet in Abilene on March 22nd-23rd.
Brando Martinez and Isaiah Russ both took 10th in their weight class placing higher than original ranks.
It has been great season so far and far from done as we head to the state meets.
