Ashley Boucher (ECSE)

Ashley Boucher is beginning her 5th year at Burton Hill Elementary. She graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies in Special Education in December of 2018. Her favorite part of being a teacher is watching the students learn and grow throughout the school year. When not at school, she loves spending time with her husband Eric, son Barrett, and two dogs (Charlie & Axle).

Christina Ray (RISE)

 Mrs. Ray  is a lifelong resident of Fort Worth.  She attended Fort Worth Country Day School and is a graduate of Arlington Heights High School. She received her undergraduate degrees from Texas Christian University and a Master’s Degree from Concordia University.  Mrs. Ray  been teaching at Burton Hill for seventeen years.  This is her second year teaching RISE, but has also taught LINC, PPCD/PreK Inclusion, 1st -5th grade Inclusion, general education Kindergarten and First grade.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, watching football and participating in outdoor activities.

Angela Desalvo--Dyslexia

Angela DeSalvo is excited to begin her third year at BHE, this time as the Title 1 Reading teacher. She has been a part of the FWISD community since 2000, having served as a teacher, reading specialist, new teacher induction specialist, and data analyst/testing coordinator. She is a proud graduate of Salisbury State University in Maryland. Go gulls! Angela’s husband, Steven, is a teacher in FWISD, and they have an eight year old son, Dean, who uses his Dyslexia super powers in the third grade. Angela and her family love traveling, camping, cooking, and playing video games together.

Kerri Berard

Kerri Berard is a Speech Language Pathologist at Burton Hill Elementary and Boulevard Heights and Transition Center. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Kansas State University for Communication Sciences and Disorders in ’16 and ’18, respectively. Kerri takes a special interest in treating stuttering and Autism and serves as a co-leader for the National Stuttering Association Fort Worth Family Chapter. Outside of speech therapy, Kerri enjoys growing houseplants, hiking, and cooking new recipes with her husband.
