Mrs. Lindsay Staros Guajardo, Assistant Principal
  • Nicole Montalvo was raised in New England where she started her career as an educator.  She earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education from Providence College. 


    In 2005 Mrs. Montalvo moved to Texas, and began working for Fort Worth ISD.  Since that time, she has worked for the district as a teacher, Data Analyst and Assistant Principal.  Mrs. Montalvo was also fortunate to be a part of FWISD’s Aspiring Principals Program where she completed her residency at Western Hills Primary, and earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.  She served for two years as Assistant Principal at Oscar Dean Wyatt High School, and most recently as an AP at Rosemont Elementary. 


    Mrs. Montalvo believes that the elementary years are essential for building a strong foundation for future learning.  She is excited to serve as Principal of Greenbriar Elementary, be a part of the incredible team of teachers and staff, and most of all to work with the students!  Go Mighty Mustangs!

  • Mrs. Staros Guajardo earned her Masters degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington and completed her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education at Oklahoma Baptist University and the University of Central Oklahoma. She began her education career with FWISD in 1998. Since that time, she has served as a Teacher, Instructional Specialist, Data Analyst, Dean of Instruction, Coordinator for the Assistant Superintendent and Assistant Principal. Mrs. Staros Guajardo has had the privilege of working all across FWISD at M.H. Moore Elementary, Rosemont 6th Grade, Wedgwood 6th Grade, Glen Park Elementary, Maude Logan Elementary, Dunbar 6th Grade, and now Greenbriar Elementary. All of these schools hold a special place in her heart.
