LINC Teacher Assistant
A Fort Worth native, Mr. Black has also lived many other places during his career with State and Federal Government, and private corporations. He has always had a passion for learning, and has “the heart of a teacher”. Mr. Black is actively involved as a volunteer tutor and mentor to many students in Fort Worth through local youth outreach programs. He tutors refugees in the areas of, English as a Second Language, Math, Science, and Literacy. He began his career with FWISD in the spring of 2014 as a 5th grade Science tutor at Ridglea Hills Elementary, and was privileged to have worked with students in grades K-4. Currently, he tutors students in General Education and Special Education, including those with special needs in the LINC program.
