Ms. Castañeda
PRINCIPAL
Ms. Castañeda has served the families, teachers, and students of Fort Worth ISD over the past 11 years through various roles that include bilingual classroom teacher, new teacher induction specialist, and most recently as assistant principal. She is a strong advocate for children and wholeheartedly believes that every student deserves a quality and equitable education which can only be achieved through our school and families working together for the best interest of our students. She is honored to have been selected to join the Manuel Jara family and community!

Mrs. Collins
ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
Mrs. Collins has been an educator in Fort Worth ISD for over 20 years. She has a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Mrs. Collins has worked as a prevention specialist, classroom teacher, content specialist and currently as the assistant principal at Manuel Jara Elementary School.

DATA ANALYST
Ms. Zumaya was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She has been part of the FWISD family for many years as well as the City of Fort Worth. Ms. Zumaya is excited about joining the team at Manuel Jara as the campus Data Analyst.
