11TH Grade Counselor

Prior to becoming a School Counselor, I taught High School Science for 6 years. This is my 7th year working as a School Counselor and I absolutely love my job. In my role, I am afforded the opportunity to be part of my student’s journey. It is an honor to walk with them through their successes and failures, and to watch them mature and develop confidence in their abilities. Teaching them life long skills about self advocacy, decision making, healthy relationships, and college and career planning is a privilege. It is an amazing feeling to see all of our hard work come together as they walk the stage on graduation day.
