My name is Mandi Jarchow, and this will be my 18th year in FWISD. My roles before administration include Programs of Choice Coordinator, Data Analyst, and English teacher. I have a BA in English from UTA, and a Master's in Educational Leadership from TCU, so purple is one of my favorite colors. I have two sons who both attend school in the Southwest pyramid, and I am excited to help make Southwest the very best school in FWISD for them and ALL students who choose to be Raiders. I love, love, LOVE the Chicago Cubs, K-State football, and play golf when I can.

Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!). This is my sixth year in Fort Worth ISD. Before joining the Southwest High School team, I taught social studies for five years at South Hills High School. Originally from Louisiana, my undergraduate degree is in political science from Southeastern Louisiana University (Go Lions!). After college, I worked for a Louisiana state senator before moving to live and work in the Washington, D.C. area in political training, event planning, and multicultural community relations. During this adventure, I met my amazing husband, Jeff, who is from Texas. All Texans return to Texas, which we did. And, now I get to pursue one of my passions—education. I am honored and excited to work with the students, faculty, and staff at Southwest—the place to be!
