Keishea Shaw-Mack--Data Analyst and Testing Coordinator
Hello! I am Keishea Shaw-Mack and I currently serve as the data analyst. I assist the leadership team and teachers by interpreting data for local, district and state accountability as well as utilizing data to enhance academic performance in student achievement. Being an educational leader of 23 years for the district, I am also a product of FWISD, graduating from Dunbar High School. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration, both earned from Texas Woman’s University. I am a lifelong learner who loves community service, traveling, reading and spending time with family & friends. It is my privilege to be of service to the Glen Park teachers, staff, families and students!
I am excited to be part of Glen Park Elementary as your School Counselor! I have worked in schools for 5 years and I absolutely love supporting students to help them reach their full potential in academics and foster student's social-emotional well-being!
This is my 4th year at Glen Park Elementary and my 17th in FWISD. I was an elementary teacher for 8 years before earning my Master Degree in Information and Library Science from UNT to become a librarian. I was honored to receive the FWISD Teaching Chair of Library and Information Sciences for the 2012-2013 school year. My favorite part of this position is that I get to build relationships with every single student for all of the years that they go to our school! I also have the unique opportunity to get to work with all of the families, staff, and community. It is so much fun! I also love working on the FWISD Battle of the Books committee to encourage reading for thousands of students across FWISD. I have been married for nearly 20 years and have 11 year old boy/girl twins and a 4 year old daughter. My non-work time is spent being a Soccer Mom, Scouts Mom, Cheer Mom, and Tumbling Mom. I also love to read (but I bet that doesn't come as much of a surprise!) and have far too many favorite books to list!
