Hello! I am Yahaira Aguilera. I am a Tarleton State University alumni. I worked as a bilingual teacher assistant for Fort Worth Independent School District and are now working as a dual language teacher in the same district. After completing my first year of teaching, I have reassured my vision about becoming a teacher. I am the youngest of 15 siblings; I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, photography and learning.

I will share with you one of my favorite quote of all time:

“Every child has an innate desire to learn.”
