She also co-sponsored several after-school programs and started a Zumba club to encourage fitness and bolster Westcliff’s recognition as a Blue Zone school. After serving seven years at Westcliff under the leadership of Ms. Sara Gillaspie, Ms. McDonald moved back into administration becoming an Assistant Principal in Arlington ISD. During those years away, she was never far from Westcliff, attending important life milestones and celebrations of former and current Westcliff students and staff. Ms. McDonald is thrilled to return to Westcliff as Principal! She has a vision of continuing and growing upon the foundation of academic achievement and excellence in education that has come to define Westcliff as an extraordinary school.
