Rosemont Middle School Counselor’s Corner
The mission of the Rosemont Middle School professional counseling program is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students to allow them to be productive members of society. All students will have access to knowledge and be prepared with skills to perform to their full potential. This occurs through the partnership of counselors with other educators, families, and the community.
Our Counseling Staff:
Mr. Lane Poole is one of our counselors in Rosemont’s Counseling Center. He is from Baytown, Texas. Mr. Poole went to East Texas Baptist University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Tarleton State University. Mr. Poole has a wife, Donna, who is a nurse, and a son, Connor who is in the 8th Grade. Mr. Poole is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has been practicing privately for three years. Mr. Poole loves working with Middle School aged students, and he loves his motorcycle. Please come to the Counseling Center anytime to visit with Mr. Poole. He would love to meet you!
Mr. Bill Mitchell has a Bachelor’s Degree in Radio, Television & Film from the University of North Texas and a Master’s of Education in School Counseling Degree from Lamar University. Prior to becoming a counselor, he taught Social Studies at JP Elder Middle School. Mr. Mitchell lives in Ft. Worth with his wife Chrissa and his two kids Emily and Travis, who are both in high school. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his family, running, reading & writing. Feel free to come by the counseling center at any time!
Mrs. Priscilla Williams-Washington has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Northwood University and a Master’s of Arts in Counseling from Prairie View University. I taught at Atwood Mc Donald elementary school here in Fort Worth. I have been a counselor for eleven years in Fort Worth for both High School and Middle School. Born and raised in Chicago now living here in Texas with my family. I enjoy most of all traveling during my free time. Please feel free to stop by and visit me in the counseling center. Ms. Amy Olivarez has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Baylor University and a Master’s in Social Work from The University of Arkansas in Little Rock. She has worked in the district for six years and has a passion for working with middle school students. Ms. Olivarez in Mansfield and has three daughters; Lindsey, Haley, and Hannah. She enjoys attending sporting events and spending time with her family. Please stop by the counseling center anytime! She would love to meet you!
