Ms. Luttrell

My name is Leslie Luttrell. This is my 5th year as a School Counselor at Versia L. Williams Elementary School. I enjoy reading, laughing with my friends and my two boys, Noah (11) and Zay (10). I was previously a Special Education teacher and through that position, I was able to understand the importance of advocacy and found my passion for counseling. My mission as a school counselor is to remove any barriers that distract the students from learning, so all students can be successful.

My goal as the School Counselor is to collaborate with parents, teachers, and community partners to prevent and eliminate barriers from our students learning. I will prepare our students with appropriate social skills that will guide them to be healthy, successful problem solvers and responsible citizens. I will do this by committing to embrace each student's individual uniqueness and guide students to explore and pursue their own academic and career opportunities.
