Dr. Britine Perkins
Britine Perkins has served in multiple aspects of public education in Texas and California as an Advanced Placement teacher, academic coordinator of advanced academics, Texas State Board of Education curriculum writer, Texas State Board of Education Resource committee member, and as an administrator at the secondary level. She was a dual credit and history professor with Grand Prairie ISD and Dallas County Community College District, and the Education Chair for the Arlington TX, NAACP. Britine Perkins earned her B.S. from Texas Wesleyan University, her M.Ed. from Texas Christian University, and her Doctorate in Education from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX. She has served as a nationally elected council member for The College Board, and as a board member for several state level educational organizations throughout her twenty-year educational career.
