• Applied Learning Academy – 6th Grade Supply List

    2019 – 2020

     

    Individual Supplies:  These supplies will be kept and utilized by your child on a daily basis.

        • A pencil bag
        • English – 1 composition notebook, 1 folder with pockets and brads, 2 highlighters
        • Math – 1 3-subject notebook with a pocket, Periods 2, 4, 6 and 8: graph paper, Periods 1, 3, 5, and 7: colored pencils
        • Social Studies – 2 composition notebooks
        • Science - A composition Notebook and a folder with pockets
        • 1” Binder  and 8 dividers for portfolio (advisory class)

    **Your child should have this ready for class on the first day of school!

    Community Supplies:  These supplies will be divided up among your child’s teachers and utilized over the course of the school year.  Please bring these to school on the first day of school and drop off in ___________, Room _____ yellow pod.

    • 2 box of Kleenex
    • 3 packages of pencils preferably Ticonderoga
    • 1 ream of computer paper
    • Pencil sharpener
    • Package of red pens
    • Glue sticks
    • 1 box of colored pencils

     

    Elective Course Supply Lists: These supplies will need to be left with the elective teachers, not in Mrs. Baker’s room.

    Art students will also need to bring the following supplies in a separate bag labeled with their name and turned in to the art teacher:

    • 3 rolls of paper towels
    • 1 package of Crayola Classic markers - 12 ct.
    • 2 packages of pencils 12 ct.
    • 2 Sharpie markers
    • 4 Pink Pearl erasers
    • 1 9x12 sketchbook - 100 sheet
    • $10 for art supplies (paint, paper, clay, etc...)


    Theater students:                                                                                

    • 1 box of paper towels
    • 1 package of kleenex
    • One composition notebook
    • 1 Box of Crayola Washable Markers (8)
    • Travel Sewing Kit    
    • Package of hot glue sticks small
    • $10 for theatre supplies (makeup/ fabric etc...)
    • $15 for Theatre T-shirt

     

     

    Choir students:

    □   1 inch BLACK binder with clear plastic cover (please DO NOT put name on the outside of binder) to be kept in choir room

      • 30 sheets of notebook paper
      • pencil pouch for binder
      • 2 pencils to be kept in pencil pouch
      • 6 highlighters (yellow, orange, green, blue, pink & purple) to be kept in pencil pouch

    □   $30 for choir fee 

    □   Black uniform girls: black dress, skirt or trousers with black blouse, black dress shoes-NO heels/NO open toes

    □   Black uniform boys: black pants, black button down long sleeve shirt (to wear with a provided tie) black belt, black dress shoes & black socks


    Band students:

    □   1 inch BLACK binder

    □   box of pencils

    □   There will be a $40.00 instrument maintenance fee for each semester.  This payment should be made in cash and given to the director at the beginning of each new semester or you can pay through My School Bucks.

     

    Orchestra students:        

    □   1 inch BLACK binder

    □   box of pencils

    Wellness: Something to write with, pen or pencil. Appropriate shoes for exercise. No other outside supplies needed.
