    • FWISD Family Resource Center
      • The Family Resource Center helps families with familial and behavioral issues with children. The Family Resource Center provides counseling and resources for families in need. There are multiple locations around Fort Worth. You can do a self-referral at this link:
    • Suicide Prevention
      • Suicide is a pain that no one should have to bare. Watch the Lifelines video for some insight on signs to watch out for and how to maintain an open dialogue with your children about their feelings and emotions.
    • Bullying
      • Bullying is intentionally hurting, harming, and humiliating another student, either physically or emotionally, and can happen while at school, in the community, or online. Those bullying often have more social or physical “power,” while those targeted have difficulty stopping the behavior. The behavior is typically repeated, though it can be a one-time incident.
      • Bullying is taken very seriously in Fort Worth ISD and here at  Wedgwood 6th.  Here are a few websites that will give you more information on bullying prevention. If your child is being bullied at school, please contact the counseling office or a school administrator for assistance.

        • Bullying, substance abuse, cheating and more- these behaviors are not okay! Fort Worth ISD is committed to helping our students stay safe.  The "It's not okay!" initiative encourages students to make healthy decisions and ask for help when they or their friends are in need.
