Mrs. Moraima Rivas is a School Counselor at D. McRae Elementary.  This is her nineteen-year as an educator in Texas and her first year as a School Counselor at D. McRae.  She graduated from a Higher Education school in Chihuahua, Mexico with an Elementary Education degree.  She also has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Tarleton State University. 

In her spare time, Mrs. Rivas loves to spend time with her husband, family, friends and her dog “Ringo”.
