Red Ribbon Week is October 21st-October 25th. Our theme at Bruce Shulkey Elementary School is "I am Proud to be Drug Free."
Daily Themes for Red Ribbon Week are:
Monday: "Use Your Head. Say No to Drugs." Wear your favorite hat.
Tuesday: "Walk Away from Drugs." Wear your standard dress clothes with silly socks.
Wednesday: "Too Smart to Start" Wear your favorite college shirt or jersey.
Thursday: "Bruce Shulkey students team up against drugs!" Wear your favorite sports jersey or sports jersey.
Friday: "Bruce Shulkey Students are Proud to be Drug Free." Wear your favorite Shulkey shirt.
Students in grades Pre-K-2nd are receiving guidance lessons on Medicine and safety which includes safety with medicine and not taking food or candy from strangers.
Students in grades 3rd-5th are receiving guidance lessons on peer pressure, saying no to drugs and the negative effects of vaping.
December 18th is Career Day. Invitations for presenters will come home with students in November.
