Melody Ellison's pronouns are she/her.

 

Ms. Ellison graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Texas in 2014. The 2020/2021 school year is her seventh year in the education profession. She has been with FWISD since 2015, teaching kindergarten and pre-kindergarten at Alice D. Contreras Elementary and as part of the Pre-K Plus program. In May of 2020 she graduated from the University of North Texas (again) with her master's degree in Information Science and her certification as a school librarian. 

 

Ms. Ellison is a cat person and loves flamingoes, sunflowers, musicals, and bright colors. If you ask her about her cat, be prepared to hear at length about how he is "a perfect and precious baby boy who has never done anything wrong, ever, in his life."
