I’m super pumped to be the newly appointed principal at North Hi Mount Elementary School. The 2022-2023 school year will mark my 21st year in public education. I previously served as a teacher, AP, and principal. I stepped away for a few years to be with family, and am excited to be back.

It is a privilege to serve as your principal. I look forward to partnering with each of you to build upon this success and ensure that ALL our students grow both academically and social-emotionally.

I am happy to be serving as your Assistant Principal.  I have worked for 25 years with FWISD as a teacher, campus principal, and central office administrator.  Following my retirement a few years ago, I have been fortunate to serve as a campus administrator at several schools.  In my spare time, I like to travel with my wife to white, sandy beaches with warm, clear water!  We like to scuba dive in the Caribbean to see the beautiful, colorful fish and coral. Ask me about sharks, turtles, and lionfish!

It is with great pleasure that I am here with you!

I'm Yasmin Ortiz Wilde and I am super excited to be North Hi Mount Elementary's new Instructional Coach!

I graduated from the University Of Puerto Rico with a degree in Criminal Justice. I then received my law degree from the same school.  My law degree actually led me to education. I've been a lawyer for Head Start and The National Homeschool Association and served as PreK Specialist in Dallas ISD.

I have been working in Fort Worth ISD for the last 7 years for the Leadership Academy network, my last year as a Master teacher. Now I'm part of the amazing North Hi Mount family. I can't wait to get to know and serve you all!
