Love books and challenges? Battle of the Books is a Fort Worth ISD competition in which teams of students read eight books, participate in activities, and go to the district competition. Students will meet each Thursday during the Spring semester. Free for accepted 3rd-5th grade students.

Love to read and talk with your friends about your favorite books? This club will read three books together and meet to complete activities and share ideas each Thursday during the Fall semester. Students will receive their own copy of each book to keep. The fee for this club is $15 and includes the cost of the books for accepted 3rd-5th grade students.

Love computers or designing your own programs? In coding club, students will work individually and in groups on on challenges to learn basic terminology and processes and start thinking like a computer scientist. We may learn HTML, Scratch, CSS, and Python by making games, animations, and websites each Wednesday during the Spring semester.

Engages participants in project-based challenges that are designed to build confidence and develop extraordinary creativity, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. Students will be placed in teams that meet each Tuesday and attend the regional tournament in February. Participation is sponsored by our gracious community partner, First Christian Church - Fort Worth.
