District COVID-19 Leave Guidance
- District COVID-19 Leave expired on December 31, 2022 and is no longer available.
- Principals/Supervisors will continue to initiate COVID-19 Report Forms on any staff member or student who tests positive for COVID-19.
- Isolation/quarantine guidance will be provided to employees and supervisors by FWISD Health Services per Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), and Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) guidelines.
- The District advises you to monitor your health, follow the CDC guidelines for people who have had close contact, and contact your primary care physician if you develop symptoms. If you begin exhibiting symptoms or receive a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, stay home and immediately notify your direct supervisor. For testing options, please visit Tarrant County’s website (https://covidtesting.tarrantcounty.com).
- Employees absent from duty for any reason, including under the District’s COVID-19 isolation/quarantine guidelines, are required to enter an absence in the District's absence reporting system.
