Project Blueprint Brings Experience To Students

Nine local architecture, engineer and construction companies are helping students in each Fort Worth ISD region chart paths toward college and career readiness.

PROCEDEO, the owner's representative for FWISD's Capital Improvement Program, has partnered with industry professionals from local businesses to create "Blueprint," a unique opportunity that allows students from nine District high schools to experience careers in architecture, engineering and construction, while also playing a role in improvements to their schools.

Blueprint allows students to plan, create and solve problems through interactive strategy sessions and explore how math and science are utilized in innovative technology to effectively complete tasks.

This video, filmed prior to the District closing because of COVID-19, offers a glimpse at the Blueprint program.

PROCEDEO officials say Blueprint honors Superintendent Kent Scribner and the FWISD Board of Education's commitment to ensuring students complete high school college and career ready.
