What: Virtual College Financial Aid Help Sessions

Summary: The Fort Worth ISD, in collaboration with Tarrant County Community CollegeThe University of Texas at ArlingtonThe University of North Texas and Tarleton University will sponsor 2021 spring semester college access and financial aid sessions via Zoom during the months of April and May.

Virtual assistance will be available in both English and Spanish to help parents and students with completing the Free Application for the Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) application

Sessions will begin at 6 p.m. and conclude by 7 p.m., with each session having a brief presentation and Question and Answer portion.

The spring schedule of aid sessions and links to the events are listed below:

April 20 (6- 7 p.m.)


April 22 (6 – 7 p.m.)


April 27 (6- 7 p.m.)


April 29 (6- 7 p.m.)


May 4 (6- 7 p.m.)


May 6 (6- 7 p.m.)  

Spanish session


May 11 (6- 7 p.m.)


May 13(6- 7 p.m.)  

Spanish session

Parents and students are encouraged to have the following items on hand to complete the FAFSA/TASFA forms:

  1. Federal Student Aid PIN* (click here to create a pin)
  2. Social Security number*
  3. Driver’s license number
  4. Tax records* — or use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool
  5. Records of untaxed income*
  6. Records of all assets (savings and checking account balances)
  7. List of the school(s) the student is interested in attending

*Mandatory documents needed to complete the FAFSA/TASFA forms
