FWISD Teacher and Teacher Assistant Virtual Career Fair Set for September 28

Fort Worth ISD is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced teachers and assistants.  If that’s you, join our team; you belong here!

Teacher and assistants candidates who believe that all students can learn are invited to register for an opportunity to connect with District hiring managers and campus principals at Fort Worth ISD’s Teacher and Teacher Assistant Virtual Career Fair from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28. Applicants must register no later than 4 p.m. September 27.

The District, located in 12th largest city in the United States, offers competitive pay and benefits. Ample professional development opportunities offer support and equip teachers and assistants with essential tools for thriving and succeeding as an educator.  

In June 2021, the Fort Worth ISD Board of Education adopted a new budget that offers a starting teacher salary of $58,000 – among the top starting teacher’s salaries in the North Texas region – and a 4% compensation increase for all District employees.  The new budget also increased the hourly rate for teacher assistants to $15.

Stipends are available for various teaching positions if employees meet eligibility requirements.

Increase your annual pay by $3,000 to $32,000 earning a Teacher Incentive Allotment designation.
