Women's History Month

Supt

As Women's History Month comes to an end, it is important to reflect on the progress made and the work that still needs to be done. Throughout the month, the Fort Worth ISD has celebrated the achievements and contributions of women in all areas of life, from science and technology to the arts and politics.

Our District tributes to Women’s History Month started with the first female FWISD Superintendent. It is only fitting we close with our current, Dr. Angelica Ramsey.

Dr. Ramsey started her FWISD journey in September 2022. During that time, her leadership has been marked by her commitment to be an agent of change.

In a school district as diverse as ours, Dr. Ramsey has been a prominent figure, inspiring girls and women across the district with her leadership and dedication to education. She has spoken at several events, encouraging young women to pursue their dreams and emphasized the importance of education in achieving success.

We recognize Dr. Angelica Ramsey and every woman who has made a positive contribution to the fabric of history.
