The District invites you to our All-Level Teacher, Teacher Assistant and Secondary Coaching Fair from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, at Wilkerson-Greines Activities Center, 5201 CA Roberson Blvd in Fort Worth. Qualified walks-ins are welcome, but prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to register here for the fair no later than 4 p.m. Monday, July 26.
Our hiring managers and campus principals look forward to meeting athletic coaches, certified elementary and secondary teachers from all content areas, prospective teacher’s assistants and adult education clerks and instructors face-to-face July 27. With approximately 260 instructional openings, across the 144-campus District, Fort Worth ISD has a place for you.

In June 2021, the Fort Worth ISD Board of Education adopted a new budget that offers a starting teacher salary of $58,000 – among the top starting teacher’s salaries in the North Texas region -- a 4% compensation increase for all District employees, and $15 an hour for teacher’s assistants.
Stipends are available for various positions if employees meet eligibility requirements.
Increase your annual pay by $3,000 to $32,000 earning a Teacher Incentive Allotmentdesignation.
