President Joseph Biden has ordered that United States flags be flown at half-staff until sunset Thursday, May 11, 2023, as a mark of respect for victims impacted by acts of gun violence at the Allen Premium Outlets mall over the weekend.

The Fort Worth ISD will comply with this order, effective immediately. Because no other flag may be displayed higher than the U.S. flag, all flags will also be flown at half-staff.
